My Mom Carol
My mom was the heart of our family. She had a kind, loving spirit, a deep faith, and a gift for making everyone feel welcome. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures, especially sharing a delicious Italian meal with the people she loved. Her strength, compassion, and beautiful smile continue to inspire me every day. Though she is deeply missed, her love will always live on in our hearts.

I’m walking today in loving memory of my mom, who passed away almost two years ago. Every step reminds me that love never truly leaves us—it stays in our hearts, in our memories, and in the little moments we continue to share.
If you’ve lost someone you love, this walk is for them too. Take a deep breath, feel the sunshine, listen to the birds, and remember that even though they’re no longer beside us, they’ll always be with us in spirit.
Life is precious. Hug your family a little tighter, tell people you love them, and never take a single day for granted.
